Strength of Youth Updated

Just so you know:
The Youth Theme for 2012 comes from D&C 115:5 and encourages our young men and women to Arise and Shine Forth.  Young men and young women and their parents are encouraged to visit the Official LDS Youth website and note the important additions in the new For Strength of Youth counsel from the First Presidency.  Other links for Family History and the challenge from Elder Bednar are also there.  Keep praying for our youth - they are terrific and appreciate your love and interest in them!...

And...on the praying note...Wade and Sandy have encountered more health difficulties with their daughter Mandy and I'm sure would appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this months fast.

With the difficulties in life, how blessed we are to have each other and our Savior to turn to when things just get soooo tough!

Quilting with Sis. Hough

Well, thanks to Sis. Hough the quilting group is up and going!  We had such a great time learning how to make the "Take 2" block which looks so hard but practically sews itself!  It's so great!

See...it looks so "triangley" and tricky.

And then voila!

So fun to make...and we learned how to pin in the seam to make perfectly matching corners...who knew?!
