Heninger's Mission Call!

 Leaving April 2015 for a wonderful 6 month mission at the Cove Fort Historical Site in southern Utah!

Cove Fort is a fort and historical site located in Millard County, Utah. It was founded in 1867 by Ira Hinckley (the paternal grandfather of Gordon B. Hinckley) at the request of Brigham Young. One of its distinctive features is the use of volcanic rock in the construction of the walls, rather than the wood used in many mid-19th-century western forts. This difference in construction is the reason it is one of very few period forts still surviving.

Stake RS Mini Day of Service

Come for breakfast, stay to serve!

We are having oatmeal with toppings, muffins & juice.

(ok - I didn't realize "oatmeal toppings" were such a big deal until I googled them and up came TONS of choices - yum!) 

 
We will be tying 3 quilts, hemming blankets and assembling hygiene kits.

Many hands make quicker work!!

Meet the Mormons is a feature-length documentary that examines the very diverse lives of six devout members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Filmed on location and across the globe, Meet the Mormons takes viewers on a journey into the day-to-day realities of individuals living in the U.S., Costa Rica, Nepal and beyond. From their individual passions to their daily struggles, each story paints a picture as rich and unique as the next while challenging the stereotypes that surround the Mormon faith. The film will appear in theaters across the United States beginning on October 10th, 2014. All net proceeds from the film will go to charity.
