Silver Lining COVID Picnic Letters

Sisters just want to remind you that we have 10 more days to finish up our little 'Silver Lining Letter' challenge. Just a few suggestions in case you are finding it difficult to get started.

        ⚡️We would like you to focus on something that you personally found challenging during the shutdown, and how/if your perspective has changed.
        ⚡️How you worked through it and what were the valuable lessons you learned pro/con.
        ⚡️Is there a way that you see that this shutdown has actually blessed your life or your families lives.
        ⚡️In what ways has this experience helped you stay on the covenant path.

Sisters I believe this will be so dang amazing and will give us the opportunities to draw on the "Spiritual Muscles and Stretching" that we have been and continue to be going through.

We will have two DROP OFF TIMES for you to drop off your letters on MONDAY 15th JUNE
        WHERE:  TEMPLE STREET CHAPEL (Parking lot by the kitchen door)
        TIMES:     11:00am TILL 1:00pm     OR
                                    5:00pm TILL  7:00pm.

Remote delivery for October 2020 General Conference

First Presidency Letter

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

While some areas of the world continue to experience the effects of a serious pandemic, other areas do not. As a worldwide organization, we have an obligation to be good citizens and to act with caution as it relates to such a unique setting as general conference, which traditionally brings thousands of visitors to Salt Lake City from around the globe.

Because of our concern for the health and safety of others, we have decided that the October 2020 general conference will follow the same pattern as the conference held in April of this year. The general sessions will be broadcast as usual. However, the general sessions will not be open to the public.

Additional details about general conference, scheduled for October 3 and 4, 2020, will be shared as they are finalized.

We pray that the Lord’s choicest blessings will attend you.
