Good Neighbor Day June 17th

The town is sponsoring a Good Neighbor Day Friday June 17. There are some Town activities that are mentioned in the paper.

Our ward members can participate in the good neighbor day by:

1. Finding out, if you don't know already, who your neighbors are.
2. Take some time to talk to your neighbors.
3. Take something over to a neighbor.
4. Invite some neighbors to your home.
5. Organize a neighborhood picnic.
6. Find ways to give some service to a neighbor.

Try to do something this week but don't stop there; let's try to be good neighbors all summer long and continue in the fall and winter.

Yay for 5th ward good neighbors!

Congratulations Grads 2022!

Yay for Stella Bridge and Skylar Sommerfeldt! (pictures to come!)

New this year:  Red Carpet Walk at the beginning of the banquet - they announce each student and give a little info about what they are doing next year.   You get to see all the grad gowns & suits (& shoes are big this year!).

Covid 3rd and 4th vaccine doses

May 26, 2022

It's time to get your third dose

Your immunity from vaccination or infection fades over time. Additional vaccine doses can boost your immunity to improve protection and limit the spread of COVID-19. If you have questions or are not sure if you’re eligible contact your doctor, visit a pharmacist or call 811.

Third doses

Who’s eligible:

  • Everyone 12 and older
  • Children 5 to 11 with eligible immunocompromising conditions

When to book:

  • At least 5 months after your second dose

Fourth doses

Some seniors and immunocompromised people need a fourth dose because their immune systems respond differently to vaccines than other people.

Who’s eligible:

  • Everyone 70 and older
  • First Nations, Metis and Inuit people age 65 and older
  • All seniors in congregate care regardless of age
  • Albertans 12 and older with eligible immunocompromising conditions
