Message from Stake Presidency

To Members of the Cardston Alberta West Stake:

We are very blessed in this region due in no small part to the faithfulness and covenant keeping of the good people in our Stake. We encourage you to remain constant in your pursuit of building a Zion society and invite you over the upcoming months to unitedly exercise your faith and prayers toward the spiritual and temporal needs of our communities. In addition to the continued need for moisture for the safety and well-being of our land, there are other economic, physical, emotional and spiritual needs all around us. Please accept this invitation as you fast and pray and attend the temple to verbally petition the Lord for the blessings needed to edify and strengthen this land and people. We love you, we appreciate you, we thank you, and we pray for you.

Alberta YSA conference Feb 27 - Mar 1

Dear Stake Presidents,

The Canada Area Presidency has approved the Alberta YSA conference in Edmonton, AB from Friday February 27th to Sunday March 1st and invite all of your YSA to come and join us for the event.

The theme for the conference is taken from Ephesians 1:10 - Together in Christ. The conference will include faith building sessions, a dedicated YSA opportunity to participate in temple ordinances, a service project, a combined Sunday Sacrament Meeting, an activity at the West Edmonton Mall Waterpark, a dance, and many opportunities to build faith and make connections with other YSA from across Canada. Billeting will be available for any YSA that do not have housing connections in Edmonton.

Information about the conference and a link to register for the can be found on Social Media: Instagram: YSAconf2026 and on Eventbrite by searching Alberta YSA Conference 2026.  As the host stake, we are excited to welcome and grow in faith with the wonderful YSA from your stake. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely, Edmonton YSA Stake Presidency.
