A Day of Service
Thursday, Feb. 7 anytime from 3 - 8:30 pm at the Stake Center
Some of the planned activities:
Service in the Home:
- preparing sons or daughters for missions
- hair braiding
Service in the Church:
- Do a temple session some time that day
-Senior missionary service class
- How to do Family Search indexing (sisters that now how could bring their laptops and index as part of their service) Those wanting to learn must sign up before coming that day - talk to our ward rep.
Service in the Community:
- Tying quilts
-Fringing fleece blankets to be stored for emergencies
-Making cookies to take to shut in sisters in our wards, or in care facilities
-Putting together hygiene kits
-Crocheting baby bonnets for newborns (Bring a 5mm or 5.5mm crochet needle)
Come when you are able, and enjoy serving, visiting, and learning together.
Supper will be set out at 5pm and available until 6:30 or 7pm.
